IndiaAI and Meta Launch Generative AI Center at IIT Jodhpur
IndiaAI and Meta have launched the Center for Generative AI, Srijan, at IIT Jodhpur to promote open-source AI and indigenous AI solutions. This initiative aims to strengthen India's AI mission, ensuring technological sovereignty and responsible AI development. A major component is the YuvAi Initiative for skilling, in partnership with AICTE, focused on AI capacity building and ethical practices. The Center for Excellence in Generative AI will drive research and provide AI training resources, positioning India as a leader in the AI space while contributing to the country's economic and technological growth.
