Centre of Excellence for Ayurvedic Research

A new Centre of Excellence for Ayurvedic Research will be set up at CSIR-NIIST in Kerala, launched by Union Minister Jitendra Singh. This center will validate Ayurvedic products using scientific methods to meet international standards. It aims to support MSMEs in the Ayurvedic industry, helping them improve their products for global markets. The center will also focus on research in performance chemicals and sustainable polymers. This initiative strengthens Kerala’s position in Ayurveda, promoting global recognition of high-quality Ayurvedic treatments and products.
