Telangana Launches ‘Darshini’ Scheme for Educational Student Tours

The Telangana government has launched the ‘Telangana Darshini’ program to provide students with immersive educational tours, focusing on the state’s cultural heritage, historical sites, and scientific institutions. Targeting students from Class 2 to university level, the program offers day trips to longer four-day tours, depending on age. With a budget of ₹12.10 crore, it covers travel, accommodation, and meals, aiming to include 100,000 students. Coordinated by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation, the program emphasizes hands-on learning and inclusivity while ensuring student safety and smooth logistics.
