White Revolution 2.0

White Revolution 2.0, introduced by Union Minister Amit Shah, aims to enhance India's dairy sector by increasing milk production by 50% over the next five years. Building on the success of Operation Flood, this initiative will strengthen cooperative societies, with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) planning to establish 56,000 new cooperatives. Funded by the National Programme for Dairy Development (NPDD) 2.0, the project focuses on improving milk collection, training farmers, and empowering rural communities, especially women. With India already being the largest milk producer globally, White Revolution 2.0 seeks to make the dairy sector more inclusive, efficient, and sustainable.
