IIT Indore’s TENG-Based Shoes

IIT Indore has developed advanced shoes incorporating Tribo-Electric Nanogenerator (TENG) technology, primarily aimed at improving safety and efficiency for military personnel. These shoes convert the wearer's movement into electrical energy, which can power small devices and include a GPS for real-time location tracking. The first batch has been sent to the DRDO for testing. This innovation not only has military applications but could also be useful in sports, healthcare, and industrial settings. The project highlights TENG's potential as a sustainable energy solution.
