Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana

The Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, launched in 2021, provides financial support to women aged 21 to 50, particularly single mothers, who are excluded from other pension schemes. The initiative offers ₹1,000 per month to assist with health, hygiene, and nutrition, prioritizing marginalized communities such as Scheduled Castes and Tribes. To promote this scheme, awareness chariots have been deployed across Panchayats and Municipal bodies from August 3 to August 10, 2023. Applicants must be residents of Jharkhand, have a bank account linked to Aadhaar, and meet specific eligibility criteria. The scheme emphasizes women’s empowerment and social justice, complementing other welfare initiatives in the state.
