Tarang Shakti-2024
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is preparing to host its largest-ever multilateral military exercise, ‘Tarang Shakti,’ in August and September 2024. This exercise aims to improve cooperation and teamwork among participating countries through complex aerial drills and missions. The exercise will be conducted in two phases: Phase One in Sulur, Tamil Nadu (August 6-14), focusing on joint operations, and Phase Two in Jodhpur, Rajasthan (August 29-September 14), focusing on advanced scenarios. Nearly 30 countries, including the US, UK, and Germany, will participate, though Russia and Israel will not. 'Tarang Shakti' will also showcase India's military capabilities, aligning with the 'Atmanirbharta' (self-reliance) goal in defense. The event will include a defense industrial expo to promote India
