Paraguay Becomes 100th Member of International Solar Alliance
Paraguay has become the 100th full member of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), marking a significant milestone in the organization's growth. The ISA, founded by India and France during the COP21 UN Climate Change Conference in 2015, aims to promote the widespread use of solar energy, enhance energy security, and support the transition to a low-carbon economy. With 119 countries having signed the Framework Agreement and 100 ratified as full members, the ISA is driving global commitment to green energy. The alliance seeks to mobilize over USD 1 trillion in solar investments by 2030, fostering collaboration and policy development to combat climate change and ensure sustainable energy access.
