Delhi Ranks 350 In Oxford Global Cities Index Report 2024
Delhi has achieved the highest ranking among Indian cities in the 2024 Oxford Economics Global Cities Index, placed at 350th globally. This index evaluates 1,000 cities based on Economics, Human Capital, Quality of Life, Environment, and Governance. While Delhi ranks 55th in Human Capital and 108th in Economics, other Indian cities like Bengaluru and Mumbai rank 411th and 427th respectively. Despite their economic significance, Indian cities face challenges in Quality of Life and Governance. The index also projects significant economic growth for Indian cities, highlighting the need to address these issues to improve overall rankings.
