Peer review has been a cornerstone in scientific progress over the last few centuries. However, it has certain shortcomings impeding the full realization of it benefits. Addressing these kinks can help democratize research publication even further.

What is peer review?

  • Peer reviewing is the process by which an academic/ scholarly work is validated.
  • For the past 350 years, peer review has remained the most widely accepted method for validation of research and other academic works.
